Today she's all dressed up as a fairy princess on this very special day! It's her birthday today and she's ready to celebrate! This sweet little "Birthday Princess" is a one-of-a-kind artist doll, created on a soft body of cloth with a strong wire armature beaneath. Her head, hands and feet are hand sculpted from polymer clay. She's self standing by an internal rod support sculpted within her leg, and stands at 8 3/4" tall (including her base). Her features are lightly painted with heat set oils and has hand painted eyes in acrylics of sparkling blue. Her hair is a golden shade of blond, made of soft curly Angora mohair, and is shoulder length in a bobbed cut. She's fully dressed in princess dress of aqua colored netting to give her a light and airy presence, just as you would expect a fairy princess to have! Her dress is accented in sweet pink silk bows and white trim. Her hair is accented with a special birthday crown to let everyone know what day it is. It's made from decorative textured papers and is permanently secured in place. And of course she's accented with lots glittery sparkles that make her shimmer and glow just like a fairy princess should! She has large handmade faux Cicada wings, which sparkle and shift colors in the light with hues of green. They are slightly flexible and are permanently secured to her. She comes with matching pink wooden base and a decorated miniature gift box.

As with each creation, this sculpture is guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind piece, handsculpted without the use of molds, by artist Linda Smith. This sculpture is dated and signed with LS '08 just under the hairline, and comes complete with a signed photo certificate of authenticity. (08-30-08)
