I find your creativity amazing. You are truely talented and visionary. What’s your background in Art? One of these days I hope to afford one of your creations.
Over the last twenty years, I’ve been involved in the art of doll making, with the last twelve focused on original sculptures. Although without formal art training, I’ve had the pleasure of attending seminars led by highly respected artists in the area of doll making, all of which I extend my deepest gratitude towards.
As a student of art through self-study, I’ve learned that with genuine interest and perseverance, one can increase their skills in whatever they choose to pursue and have fun along the way!
you make it look soooo easy.
thank you for the tutorials. you are amazing… it took me all day to get the armature right, lol! I am so out of my League on this… but its fun to play.
thanks
For most of the figures, all of the facial details are painted prior to attaching the head to the body. This makes it much easier to paint the features with balance and symmetry.
