Frequently Asked Questions
(Updated 12/11)
The Q&A’s below are not intended to be impolite, but instead to give clear and concise answers to commonly asked questions.
Q: How can I adopt one of the figures?
A: Please visit the Etsy Adoption Center for the latest in adoptable pieces.
Q: Will you do a special order request?
A: No, not at this time.
Q: How long have you been making dolls or figures?
A: I’ve been doll making since the mid 80′s. First with porcelain dolls and then discovering polymer clay in 1996, and have been sculpting off and on ever since.
Q: How are the figures made?
A: Each figure starts with applying polymer clay over a rod & wire armature, then sculpting until a delicate figure begins to emerge. The figure is then baked, painted, wigged, and then dressed.
Q: What clays do you use?
A: Mostly Fimo on the miniature figures.
Q: Where do you ship from?
A: Kansas City, Missouri, 64133, USA.
Q: What shipping provider do you use?
A: USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail, unless different arrangements are preferred by the buyer.
Q: Do you sell to international buyers?
A: Yes.
Q: What does shipping cost for an international buyer?
A: International shipping varies depending upon the country. Shipping is from the USA from zip code 64133. Rates can be checked at USPS.com.
Q: I’m a fellow artist too, I can’t afford to buy your work. Will you do an artist exchange/trade with me?
A: No.
Q: Can you explain/teach me how to…or write a tutorial for…?
A: No. Please understand when answering emails & writing posts, to instruct and to mentor, it takes thoughtful consideration and valuable time on the part of the artist. Although I’d love to help, please know, it is an important priority to this artist to balance and honor the needs of family first, then allotting creative time for making beautiful pieces for all to enjoy. Thank-you for your respect & understanding.

* Subscribe to the Shop Feed at the Etsy Adoption Center
* Join the Mailing List for BLOG post updates
* Subscribe to the RSS feed for the blog.
Q: I can’t find the tutorials for _______. Why do I get the “Error 404 – Not found” message?
